2019 - present: Principal Process Engineer
Concept design, detailed design, construction, commissioning and performance test of a pilot plant for the production of biodegradable microbeads.

Naturbeads Ltd is a UK-based start-up company working to manufacture a replacement to ocean-polluting plastic microbeads. The technology to create a biodegradable alternative was originally developed at the University of Bath's Centre for Sustainable Chemical Technologies. The company has been awarded a grant from UK Research and Innovation and seed funding from Sky Ocean Ventures to scale up and commercialise a manufacturing process for the cosmetics industry.
